Tresrey Off-Road Race Round 1 at TRS Circuit

The Tresrey Off-Road Race Round One(Team Durango Support Driver Audition) was held on January 24, 2010 at TRS circuit, Matsusaka-city, Mie pref. A total of 47 racers joined this race and this is the largest number that TRS circuit ever had for an off-road race event. There were 37 cars raced in 2WD class and 38 cars raced in 4WD class including 10 DEX410s.

Takashi Nobuhara got TQ and best lap for both 2WD and 4WD class. In 2WD class, Takashi Nobuhara won the race by pole-to-finish, Akihiro Yasuda as second and Hideki Nakajima as third. Team Durango/Speed Passion Japan team driver Minoru Utsugi was eighth in qualifying and finished 10th in the final.

There were 10 DEX410s in 4WD class and three of them were raced in the final A-main. Kyoji Minagawa started from second position and won the race eventually ahead of Akihiro Yasuda in second with with Shinichi Kurotani with the DEX410 in third, Minoru Utsugi sixth, and Echigoya in seventh, these two drivers also using DEX 410.

Unfortunately, none of the drivers were chosen as a “Team Durango Support Driver” this time, due to no one qualifying within the target time. However, Tresrey has decided to choose a “Local support driver” soon and details will be posted on Tresrey web site shortly.

Tresrey thank the warm support from everybody who attended the race, so they could run the race smoothly, even though it was the first time off-road race for them at Tresrey.

After the award ceremony, there was a “Big Draw” held with prizes including a DEX410 kit and Speed Passion products.
