After qualifying, JR was ready to step up his game to the highest level. He got finals day off to a great start in the Pro Truggy class as his JConcepts-equipped RC8TCE was the class of the field as he went on to win the 30-minute A final from start to finish. Next up was the super competitive Pro Buggy category and JR would put together one of his most impressive drives of the weekend. Starting from third, he wasted no time making his move to the front with his RC8B. Within the first three turns, he passed Gene Hickerson and then Billy Easton for the lead. Once in the lead he went on to head every lap of the half hour final and finished a lap ahead of Billy and Gene in second and third respectively.
