Bring the Heat 2012 in Flowood, Mississippi was held this past weekend. Drivers from all over the region as well as top pros such as Ryan Lutz, Adam Drake, Ronda Drake, Martin Harrison and more all converged to the top notch indoor facility. Drivers such as Ryan Lutz were quoted saying, “One of the best ventilated indoor race track I have ever raced at as well as great dirt that remained very consistent through the weekend slowly adding more traction as it wore on.”
In 1:8 electric buggy, there were over 50 entries between the Expert and Sportsman classes. Ryan Lutz would take the overall TQ going into the triple A final format. Ryan would go out in A1 and put the field a lap down with his Tekin RX8/T8 1900-powered Team Durango DEX408 buggy. A2 would be a repeat of A1 with Ryan going out to a big lead taking the overall win. Fellow Tekin team mate Martin Harrison would take third overall.

The 1:8 Electric Truggy is big down south and this race was no different. Young Damon Borkowicz would take the overall TQ. Shannon Amos and Martin Harrison would round out the top three qualifying positions. Martin would take A1 after a great start. A2 would be a battle between Martin and Shannon with Martin taking a second. This would give Tekin-powered Martin Harrison a second and Nathan Harrison fourth overall. Both used a Tekin RX8 and T8 truggy motor.
The 4WD SC Truck once again had Tekin-powered Ryan Lutz taking all three rounds of qualifying dropping into the 23-second lap region which was only a second more than his 1:8 electric buggy! The power of the Tekin RX8 and Pro 4 4600 motor helped power Ryan to wins in A1 and A2.
