Schumacher-Bedworth-BTCC-ModThe latest Schumacher BTCC round saw a return to the fantastic midlands track of Bedworth last weekend with almost 70 drivers were in attendance. There there were other events on this weekend so a few usual BTCC suspects weren’t present however, it was still a great event which all enjoyed.
Race Director Bob Burr and Schumacher’s Mark Musgrove gave the drivers the usual drivers briefing and explained the procedures for the day. The format for the day was four rounds of qualifying with round by round and then a single final for everyone. Sun and dry weather was forecast all day and no threat of rain whatsoever.
Bedworth’s track was looking in superb condition and it was very quick. New track records were set in both 13.5T and 17.5T classes respectively, the drivers were having a lot of fun and their cars were working well. After some superb close racing throughout the day, it was on to the finals for even more close racing. The results were as follows:

After the finals there was the traditional trophy and sweet presentation and also the famous Schumacher raffle – congratulations to all the lucky winners. As always a huge thank you to all that attended the event including the Bedworth club, to Bob and his great Bedworth team for putting on a brilliant enjoyable event and Kris Kennedy for some commentary in the finals.
