Nuremberg 2011 – Kyosho

The large red stand in Hall 7A only means one thing and Kyosho. New models from the Japanese giant included the latest evolution of the MP9 chassis that proved to be so successful at the World Championships in Thailand. This is easily identified by the movement of the receiver pack to the front of the radio tray. Also on show was an update to their short course truck and the Ultima SCR - a full-option, competition-bred version that comes with a ball differential, upgraded shocks and more. The DBX 2.0 is a 1:10 size off-road nitro buggy that stands out with its 1:8 size wheels and tyres and cab-forward body design. Racer will be reviewing one of these in the future so watch this space.
