Team Durango Sign Richard Cree
Multiple European A finalist and well respected racer Richard Cree, has signed to race for Team Durango in 2012. Richard, who works as a design engineer for McLaren F1, moved into 1:8 off-road a few years ago from 1:10 off-road and this is the class he will be concentrating on. Richard will also be wheeling the new DEX210 at selected races between his 1:8 commitments. Richard had this to say. “I’m really excited about getting involved with the development of the Team Durango platforms. I feel my blend of professional motorsport experience mixed with my RC experience puts me in a unique position to help the guys in the design team push things forward. My first priority is getting plenty of track time with my new rides to get familiar with the geometry, then we can start working on set-ups and future developments.”
Richard’s first race under the Team Durango banner will be at the Area 51 GP in 1:10 off-road.
