JQ Products THE CAR Optional Centre Shafts
One of the unusual features of THE Car by JQ Products is its centre differential, which has 8mm of front/rear adjustment in the chassis. Although not unique today, the idea was pioneered by JQ as far back as 2006 and can have a significant effect on handling. The standard kit comes with central to weight-forward transmission components, ideal for tight, technical stop-start-type tracks. If the full extent of its weight-back set-up is required (usually for fast, open tracks), then these optional centre shafts must be used.
