RC Arena Opening in May
RC Arena is a new club for 1:10 off-road in High Wycombe that will offer regular racing on Friday nights. The first meeting will take place on 13 May 2011 and to celebrate this, the racing will be free for everyone. RC Arena will hold its club nights every Friday at the Wycombe Sports Centre located just off junction four of the M40. The centre has great facilities including lots of parking, toilets, a licenced bar and catering. Catering for 2WD, 4WD and Short Course trucks, they have secured the support of the local shop MK Racing as their club night sponsor.
The club boasts an area of over 33x29m to work with, as well as a raised pitting and viewing area within the same hall. The track is multi surfaced and includes new Prima GT Carpet, Astroturf and wood. Off-road features will include raised bends, humps, jumps, table tops and a large jump. RC Arena believes that these features together with the mixed surfaces will deliver an outstanding track for drivers of all abilities.
