RACE NEWS - OFF-ROAD ELECTRIC

2WD at the Tresrey Off-Road Race Round Seven

Round seven of the Tresrey Off-Road Race 2WD Challenge was held last Sunday at the TRS circuit in Matsusaka, Japan and 57 racers took part in this event. In the first qualifying round, it was TRF (Tamiya Racing Factory) driver Satoshi Maezumi who managed to take the top time for this round. In round two and three, it was Tresrey factory driver Kenji Tsuruta who won both rounds and took overall TQ with his Team Durango DEX210. Maezumi (Tamiya TRF201) took second with Noriyuki Kawashima (Associated B4) taking third.
There were 18 Team Durango DEX210s in the race and four of them made the A final. Kawashima started from third but overtook Satoshi and Kenji to win the final with Hideki Nakajima (Associated B4) second and Maezumi third. Takashi Nobuhara finished fifth with Tsuruta sixth, Akihiro Yasuda eighth and Satoshi Kawano tenth with their DEX210s.
After the award ceremony, Tresrey held a big lucky draw prize which included a DEX210 kit, Speed Passion speed controllers and motors. Special thanks go to Team Durango, Speed Passion, Tamiya, Team Azarashi, JR Propo and the TRS circuit.
