New and Improved Sweep EXP45 GT Tyres
Sweep Racing has announced that they have improved their 1:8 GT tyre for use in electric racing:
"With the ever-growing popularity of the 1:8 GT electric class, it was obvious some changes were needed with the tyres. Because of the extraordinary torque an electric motor creates, there is a lot of stress on the tyres. The new improved EXP45 GT tyres have been redesigned to provide more forward traction, come up to race temperature quicker and maintain optimum operating temperature. This results in greater acceleration out of the corner, fewer warm-up laps and more consistent performance throughout the run. For convenience, the part number will remain the same as its a running change that will occur with the next batch of tyres produced this month."
