Ronald Völker and LRP Win DHI Cup

Odense in Denmark hosted the 11th annual DHI Cup 2011 and the first major indoor race of the season. A total of 150 drivers took part and that included a very strong LRP team of Ronald Völker, Christer Andersson, Alexander Hagberg, Juho Levanen, Viljami Kutvonen and Stock specialists Steffen Leinburger and Tony Streit. In Modified, Ronald continued his strong performances by taking TQ with team mates Christer Andersson and Alex Hagberg close behind. In the A finals the reigning double European Champion from Germany was able to fend off any attacks by his Scandinavian team mates and secured the overall victory after the second leg of the A final. He was followed by Alex in second place with a victory in the third leg.

The Stock class saw Martin Lissau pip the two LRP team drivers Steffen Leinburger and Tony Streit into second and third place.
