Euro Champ Robert Pietsch Signs for Contact RC Tyres
Schumacher Racing, Contact RC Tyres' UK agent has confirmed that Robert Pietsch will use their products for the 2011 season. Robert used Contact tyres to win the 1:8 On-Road European Championship as well as the German 1:8 On-Road Nationals in 2010. Now the agreement between the two parties has been made official, after Robert spent time testing the products ahead of some major races including the World Championships warm-up race that is currently running in Miami. Next year sees the World Championships run in April as well as the European Championships for 1:8 and 1:10 on-road later in the year in Luxembourg and Italy respectively. Robert will also attend the Contact Tyres trophy that will take place in Fiorano, Italy over 12-13 March.
