Fabio Ferrero Wins In Mendoza

On the weekend of the 17-18 April the Mendoza State Championship was held in the city of Mendoza, Argentina. Attending the race was also Team Shepherd distributor Eduardo Bustos with his team. In the standard class the two Shepherd drivers Fernando Ruiz and Fabio Ferrero qualified in 2nd and 3rd position for the main final, Vito Lanzilota claimed the pole position.

At the start of the main final Fabio could pass Vito, but after 4 laps Vito would take over the 1st position again. The race was very close all the time and Fabio putted a lot of pressure on Vito. After 15 minutes Vito crashed his car and Fabio could cruise to the victory. Fernando Ruiz arrived in second place 8 laps in front of Gustavo Ruggeri."
