Smolderen And Shepherd Victorious In Luxembourg

As a guest Belgian Shepherd driver, Tom Smolderen attended the first round of the 1:8 scale On-Road Nationals in Luxembourg. Claiming the pole-position after 4 rounds of qualifying he had an excellent position for the 30-minute final.

After 101 laps Smolderen crossed the finishing line in first position in front of Patrick Beltrallo with 99 laps and Jerome Hirtziger in third, another 5 laps down. As a guest starter Tom didn't receive any championship points so Belltrallo took over the first position in the ranking list in front of Hirtziger and Jacques Libar.
