Team Associated/Reedy factory drivers Jason Ruona and JR Mitch headed to the 2010 Alabama Indoor Shootout with the best chance of winning and they came away with a win apiece. In the 1:8 Electric Buggy class, there was a win for Jason and this success following Ryan Maifield's ROAR Nationals win last month, proving that the RC8Be is quickly becoming the car to beat in this emerging class. Jason's Associated RC8Be was equipped with a Reedy 40C+ 5000mAh 14.8V battery, which provided powerful performance from start to finish. In the 1:8 Nitro category, JR Mitch took the win after starting from the second position with his Reedy 121VR-powered RC8B.
