2011 RC Vehicle Speed Championships

The 2011 UK RC Speed Championships are to be held at the Shakespeare County Raceway, Long Marston Airfield, Long Marston, Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire on 11 September. At last year’s event, Tony Lovering beat the existing worlds record with 163.51mph with the rocket-powered Black Knight. Nic Case has since regained the record with a run of 173.93 mph, but now Tony has upgraded his rocket car and renamed it Black Arrow in an attempt to achieve 200mph. Entry for a single car is £10 with £16 for two whilst spectators can watch for free.
