The growing and popular ETS series second round got underway on the weekend of 28-29 November in the beautiful city of Budapest, Hungary. In contrary to Hungary’s technical and rather slow Formula 1 racetrack, the ETS layout was perfectly nice with a lot of open and fast corners with was appreciated by the multi national entry list. In the stock class it was again LRP factory driver Alexander Stocker that dominated the field in qualifying to take a convincing TQ position. Fresh from his recent win in the opening round in Kastallaun, Alex was looking for a second win in a row.
