Etronix PowerPal 4

PowerPal402

Tired of charging one battery at a time? Try the PowerPal 4. This charger allows you to plug four batteries into one charger simultaneously, and it will intelligently and automatically charge all four of them at once to their maximum capacity. To top it off, the batteries being charged do not even need to have the same configuration. You can connect different types of NiMH/NiCD/LiPo/LiFe batteries into any of the charging ports. No more staying up late for charging batteries.

PowerPal 4 employs a circuit that has maximum output power of 200W. As a result it can charge or discharge 15 cells of NiCd/NiMH at 5.0A and 8 series of Lithium Batteries with maximum current of 5.0A. Furthermore the cooling system is so efficient that can hold such a power without any trouble of running the CPU or the operating program.

It can store data for five different batteries per charger (20 in total) Input power monitoring when using a 12v car battery source will avoid damage to battery by ending charging automatically if voltage drops below the required limit.

It will also perform one to five cycles consisting of charge/discharge or discharge/charge. Please note, performance and charging capability depends on power input source. To charge four batteries at maximum power, will require a 20-30amp power supply. Alternatively a lower power source may allow two batteries to be charged while two are discharged. A poor power source will result in reduced charging performance.

Specification:

  • Input Voltage: 11 – 18 V DC (recommended 20-30A 12V Power Supply for best results)

  • Charging Current: 0.1 – 5A (50watts subject to battery size)
  • Dimensions: 220 x 160 x 60 mm (approx)
