Pro-Line TQ’s and wins both Pro buggy and Pro Arena Truck at Rd. 1 of the RC Pro South Division.

This past weekend was Rd. 1 of the RC Pro South Division in Austin, TX. The field was full of quality drivers from all over the state and even some from other divisions, such as Ryan Lopez, made the trip over for the 250+ entries. Team Pro-Line driver Kyle Skidmore put on a show in Pro Buggy by TQ’ing 3 of 4 rounds and also the win in a solid performance for rd.1.

In Pro Arena Truck I matched that of Kyle’s performance by TQ’ing 3 of 4 rounds and I would go on to take the win to show that Pro-Line is definitely on top in the South.

Kyle choose to run M3 Revolvers with stock moulded foam for the main and I choose to run the new M3 Recoils with stock moulded foams which helped me to run the fastest top 10 laps of the race. I was very impressed with the Recoils as this was my firs time to use the tire. With the ribbed carcass and moulded foam along with the unity of the tread design I was able to drive the car as hard as I wanted on the high bite surface and most importantly my car kept a consistent feel throughout the main. For my truck I choose to run M3 Calibers, which easily went the distance in the 45 minute final and kept my truck glued to the track with consistency.
