In the third round of the National Championship, Pro-Line’s Robert Batlle wrapped the third consecutive win on this 2010 season, becoming for the fifth year in a row the Spanish Champion.

Right from the beginning Robert looked as the fastest driver on the track using Revolver tyres. During qualifying, Batlle TQ’d 3 out of 4 rounds. For Sunday, since tyre wear was going to be the key factor for winning the race, Robert and other Pro-Line team drivers looked to Recoils which could offer a guarantee of lasting both the 20 and 45 minute finals.

The decision to run the Recoils was awesome. Robert was impressed with the performance of the tyre in the semi and so decided to continue using the M2 Recoil for the final.

With this result, Pro-Line becomes the Spanish National Champion 2010.

Also to note. Pro-Line drivers tested the new Sniper tyre and with the track having a bit of dust the tyres performed awesomely. Alberto Garcia set the track record and finished second on the first qualifier, just 1 second behind Robert. Although Recoil was the one that became the correct tyre when the high temps and blue groove appeared, the Sniper will be the hot ticket when running on a surface with a bit of dust and sand.

Both Robert and Alberto used the Pro-Line BullDog bodies, Velocity wheels and wings.
