A competitive field attended the inaugural hosting of the Off-Road Wars at the Maritime Raceway facility in Chatham, Kent. A competitive field included the likes of Germany’s Jörn Neumann driving a prototype Durango, X Factory’s Ellis Stafford, Schumacher’s Danny McGee and TLR’s Darren Bloomfield. These drivers took the challenge to Jörn who has proven to be very quick on the challenging layout put out at the venue for the one yearly event. Jörn set FTD in the final round after Darren had held it until then with Ellis in third place on the grid. The A finals were pretty much a one-man show as Jörn won all three legs despite pressure from Ellis in leg two and Darren in leg three. With Jörn taking the win, Darren had to settle for second and Ellis third. Tomorrow sees the 4WD event take place and Racer will have details shortly after the meeting is finished.
