Novak Electronics was pleased to announce that the Havoc Pro SC and Kinetic Brushless Systems secured a double win at this year’s 25th annual Cactus Classic. After Team Losi driver Casey Peck’s recent success with the Havoc Pro SC and Ballistic 550 4.5T Motor at the 2011 Nitro Challenge, the bar was set high for this event. Team Losi Racing driver Mike Truhe, used the Havoc Pro SC and Ballistic 550 4.5T Motor to power his way to victory in the 4×4 Short Course Truck Division. Mike started second on the grid, but took home the class win.
In the 2WD 13.5T Short Course Truck class, Tony Truman from the UK was able to work his way from sixth on the grid to the top of the podium with his Kinetic 2S Racing Brushless speed controller and Ballistic 540 13.5T brushless motor. The ten-minute main event proved to be no problem for Tony as he kept his cool on his way to the win.
