Round two of the BRCA 1:10 Off-Road Nationals was held at the Robin Hood Raceway near Worksop on their permanent Astroturf track.  The layouts used were very technical and would keep the drivers on their toes. With a full compliment of drivers it was Paul Bradby that put the latest development of the CML Centro C4.1 mid-motored conversion for the Associated B4.1 on pole position for the 2WD event. And he didn’t disappoint in the finals, taking all three legs of the A final for an extremely popular win. The only two drivers to get Paul’s pace were Associated team mate Neil Cragg who pushed hard and took a fine second place also with a C4.1 and the current 2WD champ Tom Cockerill who took third with his Schumacher Cougar SV.

The 4WD event proved to be all about one driver too. This time it was Lee Martin who was the class of the field with his Tamiya TRF511 as he converted pole position into a comfortable win, taking all three legs of the A final. The battle behind was fierce to complete the podium and it was Paul Bradby who took second with his Associated B44.1 just ahead of Tom Cockerill who made third place for the second day running, driving the pre-production Schumacher CAT SX3.
