Shepherd UK had a great result at round four of the BRCA 200mm Nitro Touring Car Nationals at Halifax. After qualifying, the V10 cars of Adam Catchpole and Chris Steele were third and sixth respectively, only a couple of seconds from TQ man Kyle Branson. During the 30 minute A final, Adam took the lead after five minutes and never looked back. Chris Steele meanwhile had a great run after a bad start with a first lap incident to storm back through the field to finish a fine second place. To further prove the performance of the V10, Adam had the fastest lap of the final.
Adam now has a commanding lead in the championship of 11 points over his nearest rival which he takes into the next round being held in the South West of England at Mendip.
