EPR Hosts Inaugural TLR Super Cup

EPR-Panorama

The inaugural TLR Super Cup hosted by Eden Park Raceway saw X Factory driver Ellis Stafford take home the 2WD and 4WD titles in what turned out to be a real scorcher of an event – both on and off the track. Some 80 entrants were rewarded for their efforts with a superbly presented and well-run meeting courtesy of the host club, Horizon Hobby UK and Ian Knight.

With each driver receiving a driver entry gift pack containing many useful items whose total value probably exceed the entry fee, every competitor felt that they got their monies worth and enjoyed the lively and friendly atmosphere that pervaded the entire event.  On the track, the racing over the two days was hard fought, close and exciting as always around the challenging South London-based track whilst off the track, there was always a friendly and supportive atmosphere throughout the pits and various tents.

A return to FTD qualifying (spread over the two days) meant that the excitement never ended and several top ten places were only secured during the fifth and last round of qualifying before three-legged finals for everyone rounded off a superb and thoroughly enjoyable weekend for all.
