Marco Müller and Shepherd Win in Switzerland

The third round of the Swiss National Championship was held at the beautiful track of Lostallo in the south of Switzerland. During qualifying, Shepherd driver Marco Müller showed good performance with his Velox V8 “eleven” taking pole position one second in front of his Shepherd team mate and World Championship finalist Simon Kurzbuch. Both drivers had no problems to win their semi-finals while Müller took the pole-position for the 45-minute final as he had the faster time. Jürg Nydegger, Andy Geisser and Roland Stadler also reached the main final to make it five Velox cars in the final making it a strong performance for the Swiss Shepherd team. At the start of the final, Müller defended his position and increased the gap on the rest if the field step by step. At no time of the race was he challenged and Marco crossed the finishing line convincing two laps in front of Luca Martinelli and Silvio Hächler.
