RHR To Host Autumn Cup 2011
The Autumn Cup takes place this weekend at the Robin Hood Raceway. Organised by the York Off-Road Car Club, the Cup caters for for 1:10 off-road 2WD and 4WD buggies, as well as short course trucks (both 2WD and 4WD). There is optional Saturday practice for two hours from 4pm on Saturday 10 September with overnight camping available. Sunday will see the usual five-minute qualifiers with the best two times to count towards finals. The rules are kept nice and open so there is no tyre restriction, although batteries and motors need to be approved by the BRCA and racers/marshals must be BRCA members. Entries are just £7 per class with practice on Sunday 11 starting at 7.30am for two hours and qualifying starting at 10am.
