Italian LRP Nitro Team’s Successful Start

The new Italian LRP 1:8 Nitro Offroad Competition Team has started to conquer the class in Italy. The team was founded and is headed by Umberto Pernice with support from the team manager Roberto Rosa. The drivers are Alessandro Remia, Rusty Fassi, Danilo Mocco, Matteo Speranza, Davide Mastropietro, Dario Piccardo, Nikolas Chignoli and Diego Chignoli.
The Italian LRP team are using the new ZZ.21C Ceramic competition engine along with a complete range of accessories for nitro racing like the VTEC LiFePo straight receiver pack and the Competition Starterbox.
In its debut season, the drivers of the LRP team race in the F2 class – with increasing success. The third out of five rounds of the Italian Nats in Castelnuovo Calcea (AT) saw 11-year young ace Alessandro Remia finishing in third place. Despite challenging weather conditions, round four in Viggiù (VA) went even better! Five drivers qualified for the semi final, three of them moved on to the final. In the end, Alessandro Remia finished third again, Matteo Speranza sixth and Dario Piccardo 11th.
Due to their success, Alessandro Remia, Rusty Fassi, Matteo Speranza and Dario Piccardo will start in the highly competitive and prestigious F1 class of the Italian Nats in the 2012 season.
