Amezcua and LRP Victorious in  1:8 Electric Buggy

Travis Amezcua won the 1:8 Electric Buggy class at the prestigious 2011 Thunder Alley Gas Championships in style. The track at Beaumont, California was host of the annual Thunder Alley Gas Champs and it saw a highly competitive 1:8 nitro and electric off-road race with many top drivers attending.
In the 1:8 Electric Buggy class, it was Travis Amezcua who dominated the event. Powered by the new LRP 1:8 high-performance brushless system, he proved to be unbeatable for his competitors. After taking the TQ spot, Travis also ruled the final and defended his lead in style. In the end, he crossed the finish line three seconds ahead of second placed driver Ryan Lutz and some 24 seconds clear of Ryan Cavalieri.
