Justin Gilkison, who joined the X Factory Team just last autumn made the most of just seven events in the ten-race SNOW Series over the winter at Mike’s RC in Bellingham. The fifth annual series began with a non-counting practice race in late October and included two races each month on Saturday from November through to 17 March.
In 2WD SC, Gilkison began the series with the original SCX-60 until receiving his all-new carbon fibre SCX-60CF in late January.  He racked up five TQs, six wins and a second in his seven races to dominate the series.
In Mod Stadium Truck, Justin’s X-60 took one win and three seconds to finish third in the series whilst he piloted his X-6 Squared to a Mod Buggy series fifth with one win.
In order to help boost series attendance, X Factory donated an X-6 Squared Conversion Kit to be given in a prize draw to a B4 driver in stock or mod who competed in all ten races. The Kit was won by Kevin Fitzpatrick who said, “I am super excited, about putting it together, Thanks so much. Can’t wait for the next series to rip it up with the X-6 Squared.”
