Kevin Pignotti Wins R2tW and Will Attend 2012 IFMAR Worlds

Sixteen-year old Kevin Pignotti from Italy has won the first Race2theWorlds contest and as a result, is now preparing himself for to collect his big prize. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will see him contest the 2012 IFMAR 1:10 Touring Car World Championship in the Netherlands on 25 July. With over 1000 racers and gamers involved in this contest, the R2tW has become the single biggest RC event ever!
Kevin said, “It’s like a dream coming true” and he hopes to do well at the 2012 IFMAR Worlds. For sure, it is going to be very interesting to see how well this young talent (without any prior experience in electric racing) is going to perform at World-class level amidst the best of the best in RC racing. It’s going to be tough, but if anyone from the VRC Pro sim community is ready for it then it sure is Kevin! What a fantastic performance he pulled off at the R2tW event. Right from the start and up till the very end Kevin proved unbeatable, claiming pole position exclusively for almost the entire four months of the event.
Kevin is the man for the job, no doubt about it and together with his LRP-powered Serpent S411 with factory support from Serpent, LRP and KO Propo, he will surely be on the pace quickly.
