The latest Vaterra 1969 Camaro SS Sport Coupe pays homage to one of Detroit’s finest. The ’69 SS Camaro is revered amongst muscle car fans around the globe with it’s classic styling and V8 power, so this was the natural choice for Vaterra to shoe-horn their own bit of RC muscle into in the form of a brushless and LiPo set-up – their first release in this category with this power package.
The Vaterra 1969 Camaro SS Sport Coupe takes the familiar V100-S platform and adds a series of upgrades including oil-filled shock absorbers and lightweight alloy propshaft to make the most out of the Dynamite Tazer 3300kV brushless motor and speed control, that allied to a Dynamite Speedpack 2S 7.4V LiPo battery. Out of the box, this will see it reach a top speed of approximately 35mph, whilst there is possibility of more speed by fitting an optional 3S 11.1V battery. Power slides are a given and thanks to a 4WD system, the handling is safe and assured and exciting. The model also features a 2.4GHz radio, waterproof electronics and mains charger.
