HNMC-Winter-1-buggy-TQAfter a wet summer, the Herts Nitro Model Club’s winter series kicked off with round one in the sunshine with temperatures touching 24-degrees Celsius. The track again was at its very best and was going to lead to close fast racing as almost 70 racers took part and a great start to the winter. Qualifying in nitro buggy went to Jack Embling with his Mugen as E-buggy pole went to the TLR of Simon Reeves as Richard Cousins’s Kyosho topped the truggy class.
HNMC-Winter-1-E-buggyIn the finals, the E-buggy win went to Simon Reeves ahead of Nigel Morris and Philip Michael.
HNMC-Winter-1-E-truggyRichard Cousins converted pole to a win in truggy as Colin Drummond took second and James Morl third. The first of the nitro buggy finals went to Peter Bird from Mike Hedges and Nigel Dedman. The D final was won by Mark Thomas as Jonathan Warburton took second and third was Tehannan Cradock. Billy Fletcher was first in the C final beating Mark Thomas and Keith Harris. The B final was packed with normal A finalists and it was Mike Cradock winning this final from Garry Brace and Janos Nagy.
