With the European B Championships warm-up completed over the Saturday and Sunday, the only space for a club race was the Bank Holiday Monday, but some 114 racers entered with many staying over from the warm-up. The track was high grip all day for this race with warm weather. Most importantly there was no rain! Kyosho’s Elliott Boots dominated qualifying in the nitro buggy, Richard Cousins was top of the pile in E-buggy and Wayne Buckhorn took the truggy TQ – all three would go on to convert pole position into wins in their respective classes.
As mentioned earlier, Elliott Boots would win the nitro buggy A final from Lewis Jones and Kevin Brunsden. Richard Cousins raced from pole to the E-buggy win from Ian Fuller and Darren Pollard whilst in truggy Alex Michael chased Wayne Buckhorn across the line.
