boots-wins-herts-nationalThe British weather played havoc last weekend with over 80mm of rain Friday into Saturday morning, but the club was able to clear the track at 6am Saturday morning. The first round was damp but the track turned dry by round two. TQ in round one and two went to Kyosho’s Elliott Boots, before the latter tied with Team Associated’s Neil Cragg in round three. Round four went to the Agama of Darren Bloomfield whilst Kevin Brunsden (Sworkz) won the fifth and final round.
There was uncertainty about the weather Sunday morning and rain set in about 10:30 turning heavy. The event was stopped and after a delay the results were taken on qualifying. This meant a top three of Elliot Boots, Darren Bloomfield and Jack Embling.
