Green Light For DNX408 Production
After years of testing with many hand-made test cars, then more than six months of pre-production testing this year, Team Durango are satisfied that the DNX408 is ready for release. If all goes to plan with production then we expect to be shipping late November; yes 2010.
Why did it take so long?
A crazy number of final design tweaks, mould changes and material specification revisions have all been carried out over recent months to perfect the car – now it’s ready.
What makes it special?

How does it handle?
Every track is different, but to summarise how the DNX408 feels is simple. It jumps (and lands) perhaps better than any car on the market, while ultra low CofG and narrow weight distribution mean it’s less likely to bite you back when things get loose. The DNX408 is as fast as any car (we have bench-marked it against) on a single lap, but it’s these points which make the DNX408 really stand out.
The DNX408 feels safe, but it is still fast. You can push it harder off jumps and bumps without crashing, and over a long final that’s going to count.
The DNX408 has picked up some decent results on the way to market, mixed in with the odd day to learn from.
