RudeBits has released an updated version of their carbon fibre chassis for the Centro C4.1 with a new 8mm longer version. Manufactured from 3.2mm laminated carbon, the latest design has been tested by top drivers and has the ability to locate the LiPo in either a front or rear position. Evolving from the 3.2mm chassis that Team Associated drivers Neil Cragg and Paul Bradby were to use, the +8mm version uses a special 3.2mm laminated carbon fibre material that has enough flex to be great over bumpy sections and jumps, but stiff enough to allow the suspension to do the work without the risk of tweaking or distortion. There is chamfering at the rear to aid clearance for the wishbones whilst there are milled sections under the gearbox and motor.
