The British weather made conditions on the dirt track impossible to use so round nine of the winter series at HNMC took place on the Astro. Some 51 drivers braved the conditions that saw Kevin Brunsden dominate qualifying in the buggy class and Richard Cousins take TQ in truggy.
In the finals, Stuart Smith won the D buggy from Nigel Morris and Nizam Din. The C final in buggy saw the top three as Steve Dean, Robson White and Chris Smoothy. Julian Jessop took the B final win ahead of Joe Cockill and John Geaves. In the buggy A final, Kong McKenzie took victory ahead of Callum Niblett and Garry Brace. The truggy A final was won by Ian Williamson from Richard Cousins and James Morl.
